Clearly written by one of our former interns, and beautifully illustrated, this 70 page book is a practical guide for saving seeds in the villages of the Pacific. We provide it as a pdf here as it is out of print.
This is a pdf of an abbreviated translation done by the Bulgarian Seed Savers. If you have any comments please email michel@seedsavers.net. We are working in the Balkans over the next few years and would love to make contacts.

The Gloucester Project Seed Savers
Date Founded:
2009-11
Coordinators: Marnie Johnson and Kerry Hartigan
We have formed our seed savers group as part of TuckerGardenPatch which is an initative of The Gloucester Project. The Tucker Garden Patch is our first site and is a practical demonstration, education and working site. We are encouraging and supporting local growers. We are highlighting sustainable techniques for growing fruit and vegetables under changing climate conditions. We are gathering and sharing information about suitable crops for our region. We are demonstrating efficient methods of water usage, developing techniques for growing nutritional foods and enhancing peoples skills towards self sufficiency. We will provide information about the importance of food miles and a low carbon footprint and demonstrate the economic benefits of increasing local food production. We are also having lots of fun and working with wonderful like-minded people! Visit our website for more details about The Gloucester Project www.thegloucesterproject.org.au and www.tuckergardenpatch.com
