Clearly written by one of our former interns, and beautifully illustrated, this 70 page book is a practical guide for saving seeds in the villages of the Pacific. We provide it as a pdf here as it is out of print.
This is a pdf of an abbreviated translation done by the Bulgarian Seed Savers. If you have any comments please email michel@seedsavers.net. We are working in the Balkans over the next few years and would love to make contacts.

Green Circle Seed Savers Central Victoria
Date Founded:
2007-02
Rosemary Stevenson is the coordinator and writes in April 2011:
We had a Garden Fair Day in October 2010 with about 50 exchanging cuttings and seeds. I gave a talk on saving seeds and we had workshops on plant propagation and medicinal herbs. Two weeks ago I was guest speaker at Riddells Creek near Gisborne for the launch of Transition Towns.
I sell produce, seeds and plants at local farmers' markets and am concerned that so many people have no idea how their food is produced. City living has put them out of touch with climate and seasons. Many think you can grow tropical foods in Melbourne and summer crops all year round!
There will be a seed exchange at my place on Easter Saturday. See list of seeds in our group below.
