Compost
Heaps |
Besides using the chickens to recycle and
enrich the some of the garden waste and small compost bays
for kitchen and other garden waste, large heaps of compost
have been made from imported materials. They have included
stable waste, chicken manure, titree mulch and sawdust. This
has been a measure to kickstart the gardens and orchards and
eventually this area will be used for extensive seed gardens.
